Midwinter

Midwinter

This company, originally started by Roy Midwinter was hugely successful in the 1950s and 60s.  It merged with J & G Meakin in 1968 and was taken over by Josiah Wedgwood in 1970.  The Stonehenge range, designed by Roy Midwinter, modelled by Sydney and Derek Machin and decorated with designs by Jessie Tate, Eve Midwinter and others, was another great success.

Sun, Moon and Earth, launched in 1973 and designed by Eve Midwinter was still in production in the mid 1980s.
