Item No: T65
Pair of Mid Century Curtains in a glossy rayon/terylene material. The motifs used reflect the influences of leading textile designers of the 1950s, such as Lucienne Day and Terence Conran. Indeed, many manufacturers, such as David Whitehead, drew on domestic objects such as plant pots, kitchen utensils, jugs and vases as inspiration for textile designs for interiors. Graphically stylised ceramic and glass containers were often found on unbranded textiles designed for the mass market.
There is a photo of this material in Bradley Quinn's book 1950s style.
Size: Length: 63 in x Width 43in each curtain.
