Kronjyden Nissen Stoneware Relief Design

Danish stoneware teapot with cane bound handle from Nissen Kronjyden founded in 1937 and based in Randers, Denmark.  It is decorated in the Relief pattern designed by Jens Quistgaard around 1960. Other collectable patterns designed by Quistgaard for the company include Rune, Azur and Cordial.  The company was taken over by Bing and Grøndahl in 1972. (B&G are now part of Royal Copenhagen)
